5 Years Old

Tori is 5 Years Old. Today we held her birthday party. The day started out with Jordan and Tori helping mom and dad blow up balloons. Then she had 12 friends come over to play, eat cake (triple chocolate fudge) & ice cream (chocolate marble), and play on the Birthday Castle. She received lots of presents including 3 Barbie Dolls (2 from Mama and 1 from a friend), $10 from Grammy, Clothes from Aunt Debbie & Uncle Billy, roller blades from mom and dad, a huge art supply kit, Candyland, a new princess dress, a baby seat and basket for her bike, and lots of other stuff. She spent the night tonight taking everything out of boxes, seperating plastic from paper & cardboard for the recycling bins, and playing with the toys before bed time.

Jordon, not to be left out, got to unwrap a "My Little Pony" for her gift. She probably spent more time playing in the jumping castle than any of the other kids. She also like to play with some helicopters and airplanes (part of the goody bags Tori handed out to everyone). She also spilled quite a bit of bubbles when she was trying to learn how to blow bubbles.

Everyone seemed to have fun at the party. Darla got to answer quite a few questions about where we got the jumping castle and how much it cost. Looks like we will be seeing more of it over the summer for other birthday parties. Some of the adults want to go try out the jumping castle tonight in their birthday suits but dad already took it apart so there won't be any adult fun tonight.
